We at Bodmin College are delighted to have been awarded a European grant to take part in an Erasmus+ project (“Confederation of Europia”), along with our partner schools in France, Germany and Spain. This builds on the successful partnership already established through four consecutive Comenius projects. We are looking forward to launching to students in Spring 2017 and I am confident that this experience will benefit our students in many ways. In an uncertain economy and with the prospect of an ever-changing workplace, it is vital for our students to gain valuable life skills and to experience challenges and situations which will allow them to succeed in today’s world.
This project will boost the skills and employability of our students across all partner schools, and allow them to develop both professionally and academically. I have witnessed students whose confidence has soared after participation in an Comenius project and I am therefore looking forward to the forthcoming opportunities that will arise from this project.
