And so dawned our final full day in Teldropia. Many preparations were underway for the final event on Friday evening when the Presidents and Vice Presidents of our lands had arranged a spectacular show with singing, presentation of awards, a play and speeches. There was also a disco and an amazing barbeque and buffet provided by the kind staff, host families and friends of Teldropia. We thank you all.

Thursday was a chance to have a well-earned rest from our work and Teldropia arranged a wonderful boat ride to see the dolphins. We had a chance to go to the beach at Malpalomas and have a fantastic lunch before setting off out into the Atlantic. The dolphins were kind to us and came to say hello, swimming along with the boat for a while. Afterwards, the braver students (and staff!!) jumped into the freezing sea for a refreshing swim, before heading back to Telde.
And so Wednesday arrived at last. Long hours of preparation and planning were finally coming together and the students were excitedly putting their stalls together, gathering their goods and practising their skills. Students from across La Rocha school waited for the Fair to start, anxious to spend their money! There were lots of stalls and everyone worked very hard, making a profit, selling their goods and services and having a great time. Have a look at our ETV coverage for more information.
On Tuesday, we had the great honour of being welcomed by Snr Rodriguez, vice-president of the Canarian Government in Las Palmas. We were made very welcome, and listened to speeches by Pablo Rodriguez, Louisa Santana (director of La Rocha college), Andreas Shultz (project leader for Europia) as well as speeches by the Presidents of Teldropia, Beeropia, Bodropia and Vouzropia. After the speeches, the students of Teldropia sang the Confederation of Europia anthem. The businesses of Teldropia also had to interview the citizens of Bodropia, Beeropia and Vouzropia to fill their vacancies - this included interviewing the candidates and matching the right person to the right job!
What a great start to the week! After a fantastic welcome by the Principal of La Rocha school, all the students jumped onto a bus and we went to the beach at Melenera to do some team building activities. This included making a fantastic heart using sand, flour and the students of all states of Europia.
